I’m originally from Latvia living in Australia since 2009 and calling this land my home. My professional background is very multi skilled I must say. I studied Academic Christianity for first 2 years back in Latvia in Latvian Christian Academy. Then I choose to study Social work as my professional path. Things changed and I started working as painter, plasterer, and restoration. My parents where in that industry for many years and I decided to follow their footsteps. After 10 years I decided to make a career change and pursue to work my dream job in Television. I learned how to become a play out video engineer. In 2007 I became a parent to my first-born son. 2009 we moved to Australia to live and work in Adelaide. I started my new life in other side of the world from the beginning and became a worker in South Australia’s oldest Chocolate factory. 5 years later I was Production Technician in the same workplace. My ambition drew me to reach higher in career ladder and I started my work as Production Coordinator in Container Printing factory.  My work injury made me to stop and think of what is that I would like to do next? This was my turning point to study Certificate III in Individual support.

I started my work with AACS in 2022 and it has been amazing experience.

Message to everyone: Dare to try, if you don’t know anything - learn, you got this!

My name is Aston, and I am a Support Coordinator. My role is to support participants through their NDIS journey. I work with you to ensure you are connected with the right services to support you to live as independently as possible. I can also support you to find ways to be included in your community and to develop your skills to better understand your NDIS plan and how you can best use your funding.

What you may not know about me: I grew up in the Riverland, and I have been working locally in the Disability sector since 2011. I’ll never say no to a sweet treat, I love waterfalls, Kookaburras and travelling in our caravan with our young family.
